Besides the eligibility requirements mentioned, we are looking for excellent students for the Transatlantic Program 2010 from across the United States who possess the following characteristics:
- Open-minded personality, flexible, curious
- Highly motivated to learn through first-hand experience about Germany and German business and technology in the renewable field
- Interested in current German economic and political topics
- Motivated to join the Alumni Network and to stay in touch with the German American Renewables Business community long-term
- A high level of motivation, a strong work ethic and a willingness to adapt to the German way of doing business
- Be part of bringing this invaluable experience and knowledge to the U.S.!
All applicants have to submit their full application consisting of:
Resume in English (finalists will be asked to send resume in German), Letter of motivation (1-2 pages) specifying reasons for student's interest in the program, Official transcripts documenting all undergratuate/graduate studies, Completed Internship Questionnaire, Signed letter of recommendation on official letterhead from a professor in the department in which the student is majoring. An additional LoR (e.g. by a German Professor) is more than welcome.
The student's application has to be received by GACCoM both via email (daus(at)gaccom.org) and in hardcopy with signed documents.
