Goethe-Institut Chicago Hosts 2011 TAP-YTL: Logistics & Transportation Delegates for Short Intensive Language Course

As a TAP-YTL Program Partner, the Goethe-Institut Chicago generously hosted delegates from GACCoM’s 2011 TAP-YTL: Logistics & Transportation program on May 7/8 for a short intensive language course. The objective was to adequately prepare participants for their intensive “Logistics & Transportation” program to Germany at the end of May and German teachers Caroline Blank and Martina Gombas worked with the TAP-YTLers in small groups, so their different levels of German proficiency could be met. The Goethe-Institut Chicago not only offered this tailored language course to the delegation, but also generously assisted with their travel costs to Chicago. Nine delegates made their way to the Windy City from places as far as Salt Lake City and Oklahoma to take advantage of this great opportunity.
